“I have bought and sold a number of houses over the past twenty years, and having Susan working with me on my purchase in Trinity Park was the best support I have ever had in the real estate market. She tirelessly showed me every new house that came on the market, helping me search for the one that truly resonated with my wife and me. Once we began the negotiation process, she was detail oriented, and always had my best interests in mind. Her extensive experience in real estate was evident in this regard. At several times in the rather complex negotiation, I was willing to consider cutting corners for expediency purposes, but she wisely advised against, and kept our purchase on track with maximum attention to contract language that would protect my interests. She organized a number of important inspections, and re-inspections, and always directed us to lawyers, inspectors, etc. who were of the highest caliber. She was incredibly responsive, returning emails and phone calls promptly and was always available. And in addition to these critical business skills, she is just a really nice person. If there were six stars in this rating system she would deserve them!!”

When I decided it was finally time to sell the house, I was living in Singapore. Susan was the perfect person for the job. She helped me form a plan to clear out, renovate, and sell my home in the shortest time possible. She put me in touch with an affordable contractor who did quality work, as well as a decorator who put together some attractive staging to entice prospective buyers. We were new home buyers looking for a very particular feel for a home and tried several realtors before finding Susan, who we found out about through a recommendation from others in a neighborhood we were interested in. As a resident of Durham, she understood many of the Durham neighborhoods we were looking into and the dynamics of each and how they are changing. Susan was exceptional at listening to what we liked and disliked about homes and we felt very early on that she understood what we were looking for, but it was just a matter of finding the right one. When it came to finding the right one she was very patient with us, touring many houses and going to some listings very shortly after they were posted. Throughout the process Susan was quick to respond to emails and happy to answer the many questions we had as new buyers.

When it came to the final leg of the project Susan's expertise and professionalism were invaluable. She was excellent at understanding our highly emotional end of the process and guiding us through the whole thing. The due diligence period was very complicated with our house and she had some great resources for making sure we weren't surprised by anything after closing. She helped make sure all our concerns with the home were addressed appropriately. 

Overall we are so glad we were picky about our realtor. Susan was invaluable to us throughout the process and I would recommend her to anyone, especially those looking for homes in Durham.

Susan helped my buy my first house in 2000. I could not have asked for a better buyer's agent! I never felt rushed to purchase a house and felt that the choice I made was as important to her as it was so me! When I did find a house I loved, she jumped right on it because it was a definitely seller's market at the time. In 2011 when it came time to sell that house (which I loved) and buy a new one, I wouldn't have dreamed of using a different agent. Susan is the best! She is extremely knowledgeable about everything involved in the buying and selling process, honest, and, on top of that, she is a very nice person!
